Which Path Is
Right for You?

20+ hours — this is my main focus right now.

I can treat this like a job. I have the bandwidth.

10–20 hours — I'm doing this alongside other responsibilities.

Kids, current job, caregiving. I have pockets of time — not full days.

Under 10 hours — I need something that fits in the margins.

Nap times, after bedtime, lunch breaks. Every minute counts.

I can handle it — I know results aren't immediate and I stay the course.

I don't like rejection, but I don't spiral when I hear no. I keep moving.

I'm still building that muscle — it affects me more than I'd like.

I need some structure and progress markers to stay motivated. Ambiguity is hard for me.

I need clear feedback loops. I do better when there's a system to follow.

I want to know exactly what "good" looks like and be able to track my progress against it.

Consistent income, benefits, and a clear structure. I want to know what I'm getting.

I'll trade some ceiling for reliability. I need to be able to plan.

Flexibility and ownership. I want to control my schedule and my ceiling.

I'm okay with uncertainty if it means I'm building something that's mine.

High earning potential. I want to be rewarded directly for my results.

I'm a performer. If I close deals, I want that reflected in what I make. Commission-heavy is fine with me.

Creative work. I want to make things and get paid for the craft.

Writing, video, storytelling — I want work that creates something, not just sells something.

I genuinely love it. Conversations energize me.

I'm comfortable on the phone, on video, in person. I could talk to people all day.

I'm good at it — it doesn't come naturally but I do it well.

I can do sales conversations and do them well. I just need some recovery time after.

I prefer written communication and async work over live calls.

Email, messaging, and content feel more natural to me than being on the phone.

I need traction within the next 30–60 days.

I don't have months to wait for something to build. I need a path with fast feedback loops.

I can invest 3–6 months in building something real.

I'm patient enough to do this right. I want a solid foundation, not a quick fix.

I'm playing the long game — 6–12 months to build something I own.

I want to build an asset — an audience, a client base, a business. I'm in this for the long run.
